It's nice to meet you. Rushville has been home to me for almost my whole life. It excites me to see all of thriving businesses on Main Street and throughout this great town and county. While I am so glad you clicked this post to learn about me, I really want to share the purpose of Ruth of Main. Ruth and Main provides resources to help you be in the know about what is happening in Rushville and Rush County. Not only that, but what makes this an amazing place to live? 

Rushville is the perfect place to raise a family. The whole town is connected in some way and that usually keeps our kids from getting into too much mischief. Rushville is rich with history. And, contrary to young opinions, there really are a lot of things to do here. The whole area is thriving! Seeing so many new businesses in town is refreshing, but even more exciting is that YOU are visiting them and supporting them!

The purpose of Ruth and Main is to promote our local small businesses with the goal of getting you to visit more of them. Sometimes it's scary venturing into a new place that you've never been to before. I remember an older gentleman visiting Mocha Moose while I was there one day. He walked in, strolled to the counter, talked to a few people and left. That, my friends, is Rushville. He wasn't comfortable, so he chit-chatted and left. I want to introduce you to the ones behind the storefronts. They are the magic makers! They are the ones you want to connect with and you'll keep going back to their stores because you love them, their products and the relationships that form so quickly.
